Just curious. What makes Frankie think he's going to draw a good crowd when about half the people there are people like me who happen to be going to East Bay. So we leave early and go to GIS. I'm not driving 700 miles his Super Bowl. It's not Eldora

The races are hundreds of miles from each other. GIS won't lose but 2 - 3 cars, if even that, to the SAS races in GA/TN.

You nailed it dirtfan. Frankie's little man syndrome/Napoleonistic attitude along with past actions is why he has so little fan support.

the weekend before the 2 SAS races would've been a better choice - esp. for him

close to 20 more that likely return
maybe 14 that will unlikely return
    10 could possibly return

    .........just my opinion

The sunday after volusia would have been a good choice, most everyone has to go by that way anyway

The Daytona 500 is the Sunday after Volusia. Say what you want, a lot of dirt folks would not show up due to that reason.

Well I'm happy for you! Maybe if race tracks go broke because they can't get fans in the stands you will still have 2 slm's with no one to sell them 2! If you are that old you should know when a race should be canceled and when they should be raced! It was confirmed before 3 thats why all the cars left! you don't have a leg to stand on here pal! Good luck with both of your slm's

Default response to mitch about people coming back

Well Mitch, in this area, where I must travel from,North Florida, if you want to catch alot of good late models in one place, these are the kinds of events you have to go to.
Volusia as it stands now will not be running a weekly schedule after speedweeks, so this leaves you choosing GIS, North Florida in Lake City or the renewed Putnam, all of which, I do not believe will be running late models every week, if they do , a limited field. So you have to go to special events, NLMS or UDLMS sanctioned events at one of those 3 tracks or even Ocala on Friday nights to catch good competitive late model racing with descent car counts.
If you want to drive farther, you can see good racing in waycross or at needmore,
which i will do for the special events.
