Albany Motor Speedway Wakes Up From A Long Winters Nap

As AMS owners have been working feverishly the past month on various track improvements many racers have been making their own to those bad fast dirt slinging racing machines .According to AMS management both corners have been banked considerbly and added to in length on turns three and four .The old back gate is now gone with the cars exiting and entering coming off turn four with two different entrances .The track also will revert back to the original flag stand in front of the bleachers to be the start and finish line .The big announcement is points within a points chase for the championship at seasons end. There will be a x amount of races divided into three segments with a pay out to the top five racers doing that segment of the chase.For more info AMS owners will give full details at next weeks practice on Saturday Feb. 26. Everyone pull those belts tight it is almost time to kickoff the 2011 season at AMS.

Practice Feb. 26th, 6pm-10pm - $10 per person.
Opening night Saturday March 5
