    Default valve cover issue

Valve Covers 18 degree wide body
Does anyone have a suggestion on a good set of valve covers that are the wide body or sometimes referred to as the inverted flange for a stand chevy bolt pattern. I am looking for something that will clear the jesel rocker system on a 18 degree head. Need extra room

    thanks

Here's a link to Dart's cast aluminum inverted flange valve covers:

Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.

We added breather tubes to the Dart valve covers (tubes bought from speedway motors)....We tried the fabricated ones, they were okay for a while but eventually the flange distorted and they start leaking. The Dart valve covers are lot more substantially and less likely to deformed.

Valve cover and tubes are both aluminum.....so just TIG weld them. Use a hole saw to drill hole halfway between mounting bolts.

I got the breather and the oil fill bung from Speedway:

    Here's a couple of links:

    Oil Fill Cap:

    Weld-on Valve Cover Breather:

Speedway has both aluminum and steel breather kits, make sure you order the aluminum version.
