Why wasn't Shannon Babb at the Florida Speedweeks this year ?
Thought he be checkin out his new ride.

I heard from a very reliable source in Tampa that he was late getting his cars
-
In a interview back during Wild West Shootout, he said he would not be in attendance in Fla. Trying to get the cars ready.

Quite a few Lucas shows scheduled, but not running for points. Summer Nats is main goal as Jason has said that $ is hard not to chase given the location of tracks and payouts.

He can shake one of them new cars down at Ark-La-Speedway this weekend and maybe take $10,000 back to Illinois with him. Just got to get to the southwest corner of Arkansas by Friday afternoon...

If you take the Lucas guys out of the WoO points standings, Feger is currently 4th, 38 points behind Austin Hubbard. If he did follow the series, I believe he could finish in the top 5. Easy for us to spend his $$$ however.

Good point but with the SummerNational tracks so close to home, and the cost of fuel skyrocketing, the Hell Tour is a no brainer for Jason. A lot of $$ can be made with very little travel. Hard to turn that down.

For a good number cruncher....the digits don't lie. Stay regional, hit the regional money races, do the summer national races....and just maybe there will be money left to pay the bills and enjoy the off season. Traveling more than 7 8 9 hours to the east or south is an expensive crap shoot.
