89 Ford Toterhome turbo diesel new interior full bath sleeps 6 $23,500

This is a 1989 Ford F600 toter home. This is a great little unit that runs and drives great. It has a 6.6 liter inline 6 turbo diesel, 5 speed trans with a 2 speed rear, 300k miles, non-air brake, cold engine a/c, power steering, dual tanks, great 22.5" tires, chrome simulators. This will run about 70 mph and gets great mileage. The cab has new paint on it, has aluminum covers over the fuel tanks, interior is very clean and it has tan leather full power bucket seats with arm rests out of a Cadillac Escalade in the cab and a nice cd player too.

The toter box is 16' and sleeps 6. It has just been redone inside and looks very warm and inviting inside. It has the bunk over the cab, a couch that folds into a bed and a dinette that converts into a bed. The new, cabinets are a distressed black with a satin finish and look very nice against the wallboard with oak bead board bottom. It is all trimmed out in real teak wood and really looks nice. There is 110 and 12v lighting in the unit. There is an AC/heat unit on the roof and a heat/ac unit in the box that runs off the engine also.

The bathroom is huge in this unit and there is plenty of room to change in/out of your drivers suit or dance a jig. Your choice. There is aprox 35 gal of fresh water and the same in grey water tanks and aprox 15 gallons of black capacity. There is a new 5 gallon hot water tank. The shower is big enough to actually use, not just wish you could.

The generator is 5500 watts and has it's own tank for gas, it runs great and can run the a/c, fridge, water heater and all the lights with no problems. It is mounted in one of the lower boxes and the tank slides out to fill up. There is one box on each side for storage. This originally didn't have a bathroom and must have had storage in the back because there are a pair of doors on the back that open up into the back wall of the bathroom. Hey a door to nowhere....wonder if a politician originally built this.

I bought this unit after the generator caught fire and did some damage to the outside of the unit. It damaged 3 sheets of the aluminum on the outside, the generator and some wiring. There was no fire damage inside the unit and it was just a box with a couch in it so I completely redid the inside. Once again here was no damage inside the unit at all. I drove it for almost 1000 miles like it was before I repaired it. There was no structural or mechanical damage to the unit. Just changed 3 panels of aluminum on the outside. I bought it from an insurance company and they issued a salvage title but like I said I drove it 1000 miles before I repaired it. There is nothing wrong with this truck.
