Default 4 bar both vs 4 bar/swing arm

I acquired a 2006 Jet chassis over the winter. This is my first mod. It can be set up with about any suspension. Right now it is 4 bar lr/ swingarm rr. Jet recommends keeping it this way. My friend is a very successful crew chief in this area and offered to help me with it. He wants me to make it 4 bar/ 4 bar. The track I run on is hard slick, doesn't really get a cushion. tight 1/4 mile mild banking. Just want to see what you're opinions are. Thanks.

If your friend is a good crew chief he'll get you set up better than anyone else could for your local track.I personally like 4/4bar or a true swingarm chassis both sides the 4/z-link never worked for me I could never get it right always tight in the center.
