Default World of Outlaws Set to Invade the Screven Motor Speedway

Sylvania, GA – March 5, 2011 – The World of Outlaws Late Model Series is set to make it's fourth annual appearance at the Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, GA on Saturday, March 26, 2011. In the three previous appearances of the series at the track there has been three different winners – Austin Hubbard in 2010, Tim Fuller in 2009, and Steve Francis in 2008. Will 2011 bring the fourth different winner for the series at the track?

Austin Hubbard put on a show for fans last year as he became the youngest driver ever to win a WoO Late Model Series event and showed fans his famed “Ricky Bobby” impression on the front stretch of the speedway.

The event will also feature local racing divisions – Street Stock V8's, Mini Stocks, and Renegades battling for the first time in the 2011 racing season.

Gates will open at 3:00PM on Saturday, March 26, 2011. Grandstand admission is $20 for adults and children 12 and under are free. Grandstands for the open practice session are $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free. Grandstand admission also includes admission to the Savannah River Dragway, which will be running on Friday, March 25, 2011 as well. Yes you can use your tickets for any special event in 2011. Just to let you know there will be more exciting announcements coming very soon about the makeup race on November 2, 2011 as well. The first $10,000 to win Sprint car race is locked in. We will be running another $3,000 to win Sprint Car show as well. Plus the Super Late Models will have a complete redo on there show since the whole field was not locked in.

Its getting better and better every day, and now if the weather will just cooperate. Local forecast now calls for a 40% chance of showers.

You can bring in beer. Or at least we have before and no one has ever said anything.

Yes you can bring in all the beer that you would like. The only thing that we ask is that NO glass bottles. Everyone have a safe trip and look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. I will work on trying to get Red to give me a full menu for this race. He says it is going to be the same as it was for the Inaugural Winter Freeze event.
