The Appalachian Mountain Speedweek welcomes BBI Speed Shop & Racing Products as a sponsor for 2011.

The Appalachian Mountain Speedweek is pleased to announce that BBI Racing Products has come on board as a major associate sponsor of the 3rd annual weeklong event.

Although BBI Racing Products has only been open for business for the past two months, it’s been in the planning stages for awhile according to Benny Foor, one of the founders of the Altoona, Pennsylvania based Speed Shop, which is a part of Bolger Brothers Incorporated. BBI Racing Parts is well on the way to becoming the Superstore of speed shops, which has been the vision of Foor, along with owner Gary Weaver. “We have a two year plan in place” Said Foor taking time out from his busy schedule. “Gary and I want to make available a one stop-shop for racers, no matter what division they race in. We hope to debut our own Hobby Stock Chassis this fall and can offer a car in any stage of completion, right up to a complete race ready car including graphics from our in-house graphics department. We are adding new brands and products to our inventory everyday” added Benny. An already impressive list will find BBI dealers for such racing mainstays as Valken Racing Wheels, Port City Racing Supplies & American Racer. Within the next few months BBI has plans to be set-up with a full shock service including a dyno that will enable them to test & re-build Integra shocks right on site. “We cater to all of the racers, no matter what division. We will supply parts for the weekend Hobby Stock racer right up to the full time traveling racer and everyone in between” said Benny. “The Appalachian Mountain Speedweek is a great fit for us. We can help out the racers while getting our name out there. We plan on having a parts trailer at all seven events and in association with Lias Tires, we will have it stocked with American Racers for their clientele” added Foor

“Having an upstart company like this involved with our series is a great thing” said Bedford Speedway promoter and series founder J.R. Keifer. “They plan on not only being there for our competitors but will gave back to them also, as they will have a product giveaway at each race that week. We look towards a long relationship with BBI that will benefit them as much as it will our series” added Keifer.

For more information on the ever expanding list of products and services offered by BBI Racing Parts give them a call at 1-800-944-4059. Benny, having spent a couple of decades working on racecars also knows the importance of getting a hold of a supplier when needed, also encourages his clients to e-mail him at bfoor@bolgerbrothers.com or call his cell phone at 814-515-3698.
