Oil Cooler Mounting

Whats the best place to mount oil cooler and do you mount them tight to deck or space away? Thanks

To get the most air through the cooler, cut or punch holes in the deck and allow the air to pass threw the fins using a "scoop" Dominator makes some nice ones or you could build one yourself out of aluminum.
