Thread: Intake

    Default Intake

I went to bolt on my bowtie marine intake last night and the center 4 bolts didn't match up. The holes in the head are 72 degrees and the intake is 90. I was wondering if I could get by with just running the outside 8 bolts like the vortec intakes do. What do you guys think?

Even if I used some silicone? I really don't want to take and grinder to this manifold it's off by about a 1/4" on the top then I have the get the the head of the bolt to sit flush.

Ive seen guys oval the holes, some pressure by the bolt is better than none for sure.
