CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series has announced its 2011 line-up of 16 tracks in six states and two Regions. The 2011 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series season begins this Friday night and runs through October 2. The 2011 Regional Champions will receive $5,000, and each Region will pay back ten places from the point fund.

The five track NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region will feature a new sponsorship from Old Man’s Garage (OMG) for 2011. Old Man’s Garage based out of Rainbow City, AL manufactures quality chassis and suspension components for dirt late models.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Old Man’s Garage (OMG) East Region line-up includes Penton Raceway in Penton, AL on Friday nights, and Saturday night tracks at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN, Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, New Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA and Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region will grow to 11 tracks for 2011 with four new tracks in Missouri and Arkansas. Returning Friday night tracks are Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, AR and Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, MS.

Returning Saturday night NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region tracks for 2011 are Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS, Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS, and Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.

The new NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region Friday night track is Malden Speedway in Malden, MO. New NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region Saturday night tracks are Drew County Speedway in Monticello, AR, Centerville Speedway in Centerville, AR, and NEA Speedway in Harrisburg, AR.

Drivers competing in the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series will compete for a track point fund and a Regional point fund. A driver’s best finish of the week will count towards their Regional point total, and a driver’s best 14 weekly point counts will be tabulated towards their seasonal total along with bonus points for perfect attendance and competition on the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour.

A driver can earn up to 100 Regional Bonus Points two different ways. A driver can earn 25 Regional Bonus Points for every four weeks of perfect attendance at a NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series track, and 25 Regional Bonus Points for competing in a NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring event during the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series season.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series dirt late models are powered by the economical GM Performance Crate Engines that are built and sealed at the factory to avoid any expensive modifications. There are two GM Performance Crate Engines available for NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series competitors.
