Not 100% sure, but I think that was Doug Evans from Ga. That drove the 55 at Newberry Speedway. This was the guy that went to jail for a long time for drug trafficking.

Thanks for sharing your photos with us. Especially the old Pennsboro photos. Some time ago I ran on to one of Bobby Boyles and my dad shaking hands after one of his many wins there. My dad worked at Pennsboro for years and seeing that picture meant so much to me. Thanks again, Steve

When i was just a Kid (about 8 years old) people asked me...why you want to keep them pictures. Back then i didn't even know why but from the many post i have saw and the one you just posted, i now know why. I'm 61 years old now and i still collect those things.....don't reckon i ever will quit.
