I'm hoping some of the extra people in the photos can be identified. I have lots of "folks" photos I shot now and then. I'll post some more when time allows.

In the Danny Ferguson photo 3 that is me in red shirt standing on top of wall talking to Lil Jim Barfield Ted Hunt is standing behind me with those Elvis sideburns he used to wear, In the Zack Nichols photo from left to right 1st person looks familiar but can not recall his name next with 17 hat is Kerry Hampton he was a good friend who lost his battle with cancer a little over a year ago next is Johnny Maddox next to him is Stuart Wills who also passed away several years ago next is Zack Nichols next to him Is Roy Nichols and finally I am pretty sure that Mike Vaughn founder of the Nesmith racing series.

I just found out that another great of the sport has passed. Luther Carter, long time GA Dirt Tracker, has gone to his rewards. I don't have a lot of details at this time, maybe Mark will let us know more.

I recently aquired a scan of an old photo my late father in law had. This was around the Auburndale, FL area and was probably in the early to mid 1950's. The owner and/or driver was previously from PA. Any one have any information on this car or the folks in the photo. Nice to keep the photo alive anyway.

1 Luther Carter at Lakewood Speedway in Atlanta I think, probably 1979. He just recently passed. I believe this is a Joe Cawley photo.

What track are the pictures above from? Love the 60's - 80's pictures. If I could figure out how to post pictures I have pictures of my Dad from the 50's & 60's and of me from 1971 to present (still going in circles) and my son's from 1998 to present (yep there still going in circles too). Mainly we have raced and race in North and Central IL and a couple tracks in Nothern IN. If someone wants to PM me on how to post pics I could fill a page myself. Thanks and this is a great post, lets keep it going.

Most of my dirt photos are from Dixie, Rome and West Atlanta in Georgia.
