    Default torque on rods

    can anyone tell me the torque on the cheap pro rods with a 7/16 headed capscrew

    .005-.006 stretch. Usually about 70ft lbs...usually! More details like..manufacturer, and bolt brand, type would help.

    Torque to 63lbs or stretch to .005

    these are the cheap chinese stock appearing rods for my pure stock we found nothing in the box they are a 7/16 12 point capscrew
    called where we bought them and they said they thought 45 but i thought it was more than that

    Is the bolt itself a 7/16 or is that the size of the socket that fits it?

    7/16 is the socket size 12 point capscrew i am thinking 45 ft lbs
