    Default Racetracks "near" Louisville

I will be working in Louisville, Ky. later this year and was wondering if my fellow 4mers could help me locate race tracks roughly within a 3 hour radius of Louisville. I've looked at some sites like http://www.racingin.com/ , but some of info is still scattered. So I was hoping you guys could give me some names of active tracks that fit the bill of within a 3 hr radius and what night they run; Fri, Sat, Sun?
Doesn't matter what the headlining class is either, if its dirt we like it and could be open to some paved ovals.
    Thanks to all that contribute.

    Default Louisville are tracks

Well south of louisville you have Bluegrass Speedway3/8 dirt saturday nights
Go north up 65 to Seymour ind and go west to Brownstown speedway. Go east on SR 50 and go to TwinCities another track in that area.
North 71 to Florence Speedway (this would be my choice ) it's actually not all the way in Florence look at the map for florence speedway and you'll see what I mean.

Salem Speedway Indiana High Banked Asphalt- Firecracker 200 around 4th of July. Check out there website for dates. Excellent Track
Florence as stated in earlier post has the Ralph Lathem Memorial and the North/South 100 (a must see). They also have excellent weekly shows.
Brownstown is legendary. Check out there website as well.
Bardstown Speedway has a WOO LMS on April 30th which last year was a great race and the Lucus Oil LMS in August.
Kentucky Speedway also has the inagural NASCAR event July 9th.
Man you are in a location for a ton of racing. You should definitely get your racing fix.
