    Default rayburn birdcages

    Helping a buddy out and he set all the bar lengths to what Rayburn said and the birdcages are indexed backwards LR is like 3 degrees rr is 6 degrees what effects does this have on the kar and should they be straight up and down? Swing arm left rear and zlink rr any help wld be appreciated I am new to the swing arm deal myself

    indexing (at least in relation to springs) doesn't make as much difference on swingarm/zlink as on 4 bar. shouldn't matter at all on LR, RR may make a little difference, but probably not noticeable.

    we set ours straight up rr and lr has a 2 dergrees neg or leaning back at the top.here a photo at off cj's wae site you can see he sets his back.as the lr drops the cage straightens and goes pos as the bars travel at different rates due to ther lengths.
