    Default angle milling chevy 441 heads???

    how much can be cut off of these heads for max performance.441 heads 1.94/1.5 valves.

    How much cam are you running? mine are cut so much 470 is the max

    angle milling is a good way to make power with your stock gm heads but you need to be careful not to over due it. you will need to machine the bolt hole and spot face the bolt landings on the heads.you can 1 degree thats .133 off at the very outer edge of the head see photo's you will also need to cut the intake to match the new intake flange angle on the head or recut the head to match the intake.with bigger valves you might have to clearance the pistons. all your doing is changing the valve angle and the volume of the chamber valve lift is not going to be a problem.the only issue ther is the valve relief pocket in the piston.also lookat the photo the shows the spark plug hole that will be one of the limits in how fare the head can be rotated over.

    Mine are always flat cut .030 then angle cut .090. Never had intake problem.

    So your not cutting the intake side after the flat cut and angle cut?
    Will port and polish for cash
