    Default clamped up for rookie driver

    i have a coileliminator clamped in front of lr and shock behind on a 4/4 setup.track is stop and go 1/4 mile open tire rule.is this a good setup for a rookie driver?track is usually damp to tacky with some grip.shock is on birdcage.chevelle clip mod.600 springlf,650rf,200lr,175rr.thanks in advance...

    It's a good and drivable set up for the quarter mile. I would, however, switch the front springs (or run even), switch the Rear Springs (or 200 across) run alot of stagger, and put a limit chain on the LR to tame LR hike and keep the LF on the ground. If you pull that LF wheel too much the car will dart around a bit when you get off the gas, which could be a handful for a rookie.

    what should the upper and lower bar lengths be?right now i have 15in on both bottom bars and 16.5 on both top bars.should i have more of a split in bar lengths like 15 and 17''?

    I think those length bars will work, just get your rear end set according to specs. Good luck and clamped up seems to work fine for alot of drivers.
