$2,500 to win UMP Super Late Models/ 13th Annual Lee Fleetwood Memorial at Brownstown

BROWNSTOWN, IN, (May 3rd, 2011) - After a long absence, racing will finally resume at the Brownstown Speedway on Saturday night, May 7th for the 13th Annual Lee Fleetwood Memorial. The Peoples Bank will be bringing you the action as the presenting sponsor

On the card will be UMP Super Late Models, UMP Super Stocks, UMP Modifieds, Bombers, Hornets, and the MMSA Mini Sprints. Last years event paid $2,000 to the winner of the Lee Fleetwood Memorial, however, this years edition will pay $2,500 to win for the UMP Super Late Models. General admission for this event will be $15

Past winners of the "Lee Fleetwood Memorial" include: Steve Barnett (1999, 2002, 05), Mike Jewell (2000, 01), Dan Sturgeon (2003), Mark Barber (2004), Jack Sullivan (2006), Rohn Moon (2007), and Justin Rattliff (2008). The past two events have been rained out (2009, 2010).

Chris - Sorry there has been some change of plans... James, Heckenast, and Rattliff all called or text last night/this morning and are not coming to Brownstown today. O'Neal will still be there as far as I know.
