Default Need some help with a leaf spring car.

I just bought a camaro clipped rayburn with leaf springs out back. I've read every setup page I could find in the fast boys set up. Problem is where i run you can't run a birdcage. I was wondering if anyone has ran the fast boy deal without it mounted on one and what kind of results you had.....or if you know of something thats as good let me know please. I have never ran a car with leaf springs so im kinda lost.

Scott Mays found the setup by accident . when the RR u-bolts on his leafs came loose from what i have read in past fastboy setups you could always try to do the same thing than double nut the u-bolt so it don't back of anymore.

or you could run the bird cage made for the fast boy setup because it don't look like a bird cage anyways and the tech guy wouldn't know what the heck is is

we use it in our cars,no coil, 4stack unclamped on back of rr. not as violent as a birdcage. shock type and location critical. rr trail is a driver feel.the more use to it the more you will put in it.takes getting use to. 3 1/2 + stagger. awsome center off bite.we use this on the asphalt car to. street stock camaro's.

Thanks for the reply fellows. I'm gonna try the clamped way first. Almost finished with the car and hope to run it at a open practice soon. There seems to be alot of different ways to do this deal so I may try them all.
