AWESOME SHOW!!!!!!! One of the best ive ever seen at Cleveland. the battle between Davenport and madden was epic. madden made the best save I ve ever seen on a race track, a complete 360 at full speed coming out of turn 2 and saved it and never lost a position. INCREDIBLE MOVE!!!

Track was a little rough but the racing was off the chain.

I wouldn't say it a waste of money.

Sure the track was challenging, but there was a good grove at the top and the bottom as well. I haven't seen racing like that anywhere since Duayne Hommel ran at Cleveland many years ago. The track conditions were far from perfect but produced an awesome race.

As a Shane Clanton fan, I am sure you would have been disappointed that he didn't start the race. But I think if you asked any Davenport fan in the stands about wasting their money they would disagree.

Top 5 action was great all night. I would put this race in my top 10 of all time ....

It was such a good race, a fellow sitting by me from Alabama, said if they were
still taking up money at gate, he would give them a few more dollars because
    it was worth it.

    Red face

I love to travel all over the southeast for the big SLM shows, been doing it for lots of years now. Say what you will about the track being a little rough, no argument there, bringing the grader out was good call, would have been a train race around the top if he had not of done that. Some of the drivers might not have liked it, BUT... what a show for fans!!! Thank you Monty for not making me watch another train race! If you missed this one race fans, you missed a whale of a race, definitly in my top ten ever list. "Just a SLM fans opinion"

With the track conditions the way they were(Rough and terrible) These guys put on 1 hell of a good show!!! Best show i have seen at Cleveland..Chris Ferguson can drive a race car this kid was going places on the track everyone else was scared to go.He tore his car all to hell tho.Chris Madden WoW he got up on 2 wheels in turn 1 and 2 i thought he was going over, few laps later he spun in the same turn (did a 360) and still held the position,to only get tangled up with Fergy... was a (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) good show!!!!Great race for Jonathan Davenport congrats on the win!

I had a guy from GA tell me the same thing about giving extra money, said it was one of his best...

Wickedly rough and evil fast would sum up the track conditions at Cleveland last night. Harold Camping predicted Armagedon would begin last night, he just didn't know it would take place at Cleveland Speedway. Davenport and Madden waged an all out war. How Madden kept from flipping over in turns one and two, and then doing a complete 360 and not losing a spot are unbelievable. Yes the track conditions were not great and took its toll on many cars, but it provided one of the best races ive ever seen at Cleveland. Tough break for Clanton in qualifying. Fergy was on a mission until getting tangled up in maddens wreck. In my opinion he had the fastest car. Congrats to Davenport on the win. The guys above me said it was one of the worse track conditions they had seen but the best race they had ever watched.
