TERRY SMITH TAKES SLM CHECKERS AT TALLADEGA SHORT TRACK

Eastaboga, AL (May 21, 2011) – Terry Smith led wire to wire to become the eighth different winner in Super Latemodel action at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night.

Tim Roszell finished second with Tim Busha third. Dillon Crim finished fourth with Jason Wilson rounding out the top five.

Adam Cummings won the twenty-five lap Sportsman feature event over Dustin Stewart in second and Jonathan Chapman third.

Tim Staples picked up his third win of the season in Crate Latemodel action over Adam Gauldin in second and Brian Ponder third.

Eric Smith won the twenty-lap Open Wheel Modified feature event over Jeff Harry who was second and Scottie Hiett third.

Scott Magouirk won the Thundercar feature event with Chris Yarbrough in second and Bobby Joe Robinson third.

Andy Davis won the Street Stock feature with Timmy Runfola winning the Hot Shot feature event.

Talladega Short Track will be in action once again this Saturday Night May 28th featuring a full racing program in all divisions. Gates open at 5PM with Hot Laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:30.
