Richmond Raceway IS racing this Saturday, May 28; Weekly Racing in all Classes!

RICHMOND, KY (May 23, 2011)-In lieu the rainouts over the past several weeks, Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett have added a date to the 2011 schedule. There WILL be racing this Saturday, May 28 featuring weekly racing in all five divisions.

NO rain checks were issued for Saturday, May 28. Returning fans and drivers will have to pay full admission. The Open Wheel Modifieds, Road Hogs, and Four Cylinder divisions will run double features.

For Saturday, May 28 events will start 30 minutes earlier with the pit area opening at 5:00 p.m. followed by the grandstand area at 6:00 p.m. A mandatory driver’s meeting will take place at 6:15 p.m. with hot laps set to get underway at 6:45 p.m. Racing begins at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Ticket prices in the grandstand area are $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and kids under age 6 are admitted FREE. Pit passes are $25 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and kids under age 6 are also admitted FREE to the pit area.

Richmond Raceway last raced on May 21, feature event winners that night included Aaron Hatton of Mount Sterling, KY in the Coyote 100.7 FM Super Late Models and John Cole of Berea, KY in the Sportsman.
