LR compression

What would adding comp. In the lr shock behind effect? We recently were practicing and added some and car felt very stable entering. Track was very slick. What would this do on a track that has bite in it? Thanks

Keep the car on the bars and gives traction, car doesn't do the wiggle it gits if not enough compression
