I get it......Lucas puts up the money, owns the track, sponsors the MLRA series, paid for the the name (Show Me), brought in CBS sports and can do what ever they want. But, in my eyes this race has lost its Crown Jewel status. Just hope the Lucas Knoxville LM National isn't ruined like this one.

you notice the guys who took "emergency provisionals" were guys that had the series or "sponsor for a year to keep running the lucas series" sponsors? granted cook is a one race deal, but you get my drift.
