    Default Bert starter replacement

Anyone tell me what the best replacement starter there is for a bert reverse mount starter, i picked up a combo starter flywheel, I have a brand new never fired motor and when it cranks its so slow, and also the thing is hot as heck. Its a powermaster starter, seems to be junk to me, let me know please where to get a much better replacement,

I'll bet only two of the four brushes are working!
Lots of good starters out there..... ruined daily by pressure washers.
The most expensive is a Mason, the best ............... no comment.

They make a really good starter more affordable than a mason and IMO just as good if not better

Yup same here. DBR starter working like a charm. Great prices.

Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.

We had a gears unlimited starter that made it 6 years before breaking apart on a rough track. Got a CVR now and seems to be holding up fine so far.
