Sounds like an awesome field! I hope it's a good race.
As stacked as East Tennessee/North GA is with racers it's pretty disappointing to see only about 8 drivers from our area there tonight. Less than two weeks ago there was a SAS race at Cleveland with 37 cars. I'm not arguing the quality of that field vs this one, because I understand these are the best of the best. I just can't figure out why only 10 of those 37 cars are there tonight. I guess it's because of it being a Thursday night. Most people thought this race should easily draw over 40 cars. Lucas sure did their part, bringing in almost 20 traveling drivers. It's just a shame our local cars plus Clint, Reese, Davenport, and Thomas only added about 10 more.

Track conditions in the past might be part of the car count.I believe that a lot of cars got tore up at the last SAS race.

It could be due in part to the fact that, with all of Lucas' BS provisionals, there was not much hope in them making the show anyway.....Just a thought....
