    Default ignition/tach

Working on a late model with a 360 Dodge IMCA spec in it. Distributor being used is what I believe to be a #8388 MSD. Has external coil. Does not use an ignition box. This distributor has 3 wires coming out. Two to the coil (orange on negative/red on positive) and one ground.

Question is..........where do you hook the tach? On this type of a setup....does the green wire from the tach go to the coil and if so....postive or negative side?

I tried to look it up on MSD's website but they don't say. Everything runs fine....just want the tach to work.

According to MSD's website....you can add a 6al box to this setup. Since IMCA rules say you have to have a 8000 rpm chip.....I think I am just going to add the box and kill 2 birds with one stone.
