Is a 12" spring ok for a LR behind setup? what are most of you running?

It is fine. You are not getting a lot of compression travel. You could probably use an 10" if you can get the adjuster nut in the right place and the spring isn't real soft.

perfect..that's what i thought, but wanted to make certain..I am starting with a 250 on LR, and I only had a 12"...wanted to make certain I didn't need to get a 14"....thanks!

If you get down softer to say towards 200 then a 14 would be more productive, 250 should be fine with 12 like above poster stated.
