    Default Pro comp 2 ultra light memory auto meter tach help

    I'm needing to kno how to hook up my tach I have a white,green,black,and red wire coming out of the back of it, I am hooking it up to a msd 6al, I think I seen somewhere that the green one goes to my tach input on my msd but idk what the rest of them go.. Thanks

    white = illumination
    black = ground
    red = switched power
    green = tach input

    So white and red can basically go together, and thanks

    If it's a memory tach and you hook the red to the switched power when you cut the switch off it will not hold the memory. You can hook up the red to a solid power source like the hot side of the solenoid and the white to the switch for the lights.

    An Auto Meter tach should hold it's memory even with switch power shut off, we can recheck ours hours after the race and it's still saved.
