Back on Outlaws Trail, Fuller Looks Forward to Firecracker Weekend at Lernerville

Watertown, NY (June 20, 2011) Tim Fuller and his Tim Fuller Racing Inc., team were back in action with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series this past weekend at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, VA for the $10,000 to-win ‘Gunter’s Honey Spring 50’ before making their way to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA for the much anticipated, 5th Annual ‘Firecracker 100’ presented by GottaRace.com that will feature two full World of Outlaws Late Model Series events each paying $6,000 to the winner before Saturday’s 100-lap, $30,000 mega event.

‘We got caught up in a mess in our heat at Winchester and that put us towards the back for the feature,’ Tim said about his trip to Virginia. ‘We had a good car, we were able to hang on to Chub (Frank) for a lot of laps and pass some cars, the longer the race went, the better we got. Maybe if it would have been a 100 lapper, we would have had a better finish.’ Fuller finished 13th at Winchester keeping him ninth in World of Outlaws Late Model Series points heading into Firecracker weekend.

‘I really enjoy going to Lernerville, we’ve had some success there in the past with the modified and I’m comfortable there in the Late Model but don’t really have the finishes there to prove it.’ Tim continued, ‘It’s a fun weekend and a great event that the people at Lernerville put on.’

The break in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series schedule has been a blessing for Fuller, who, after teaming up with Chad Sinon and North Wales, PA based BPG Inc., was able to take the time to get his racing operation situated before a hectic July schedule will keep him on the road for pretty much the entire month. ‘Now that we were able to take a few weeks and get all of our duck’s in a row, I’m looking forward to kicking things off at Lernerville and getting the next few weeks of Outlaws racing underway.’

Tim Fuller and Tim Fuller Racing Inc., will be in action this Tuesday, June 21 at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, NY for ‘The Big Show III’ sanctioned by the Super DIRTcar Series. Then it’s off to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 23, 24, and 25 for the 5th Annual ‘Firecracker 100’ presented by GottaRace.com.
