    Question Spindle Question

Does anybody know how a regular Metric spindle compares to a Pinto spindle and also a mid-70s Camaro spindle in overall height and pin placement from the bottom? Thanks in advance for any responses.

the metric vs pinton biggest thing it the pinto has a shorter steering arm and is about 1 5/8 " higher on the spindle . height is with in 1/8" pin is the same. I have a NEW tall spindle that is 1 1/8 " taller then the pinto and has 10 deg of pin inclination in it vs the 7 deg of the pinto ,metric. The new spindle I have is a OEM GM part and is IMCA legal and the steering arm is 2" lower vs the pinto so you do not have to run the long bump steer bolts and out 1" forward vs the pinto so the tie rod does not hit the lower right a arm when turning the wheel to the right. check out my website these a pic of the spindle on there . Plus the spindle I have will make your car wider!!!

I'm using a metric brake cal (or you can run a big gm brake ) and you will need to rework the brake mount and US Brake has a rotor that works

I would think you can use any ball joint you want...
