good hotel in eldora area

I have been going to eldora for quite a few years with no luck in hotels. Were coming from the south and would like to know a good local american owned motel with good price and clean. Weve tryed a bunch in troy with no luck. thank you

last few years I've been, we stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Portland, IN. Resonably new hotel, like 3 years old....a few decent places to eat, about 12 miles from track.
