Brake Floater on a Pierce? Good or Bad Idea? Any help would be appreciated.

I tried it a few years ago on a spring bucket car and ended up going back to the original set up. I like to try new things and back then, no one else was useing one. You have to be really good at dragging the brake or else it will screw you up. I just think it adds another adjustment you don't need to allow yourself to screw up your setup. Better off to concentrate on the basics like tires, shocks, weight placement, overall balance of the car, etc. What type of suspension is it and what do you think it will do for your car? Spring behind might be a different story. I know alot of guys run them. I guess it's personal preference.
