Wayne McPeek, the winner the last time the 410 Sprints raced at SOS, currently sits eighth in OVSCA points.

The 410 Sprint Cars produce an intense, high speed style of racing that is sure to keep race fans on the edge of their seats all night long. The action each week in the UMP Modifieds has been fast and furious. In four races there have been four different feature winners. Each race has been very exciting and has featured a close battle for the lead. With many area tracks not racing this weekend, one of the strongest UMP Modified fields of the season is expected to be in attendance on Friday. Coming off of a second place finish last Friday, Minford’s Adam Colley continues to lead the tracks UMP Modified point standings.

Steel Block Late Model Preview
Steel Block Late Models, also known as Limited Late Models, will take to SOS on Friday for the first time since 2004. When the class last competed, Coal Grove, Ohio’s Steve Dillow was the feature winner in a special event race. Dillow is expected to return this Friday as well as several of the region’s top Steel Block drivers, including multiple time PRP track champion John Melvin.

Enduro Preview
Enduro races are some of the most fun, entertaining races of the season to watch. These races present a great opportunity for fans to get from the stands to the track in an inexpensive way. Several drivers from other classes are expected to race in the Enduro Friday as well.
