Just watched the heat on DoD I would have packed up and left to.

The track was not slick enough in the heat for him to use his secret tricks. He had to drive fast or fall back. He fell back.

I don't know what happened to,as you say to the great one,but I know that he visited the Florence Speedway tower after that heat races were completed.Did he have a conversation with Richie Lewis about some rule infraction,that could have enhanced the preformance of some of the other racers?

Probably wanted to protest Owens and Bloomers tires, but they told him you have to be in the race to do that!

Engine Problems
Truth be known, Jimmy's Car developed an engine vibration during the heet race. They opted to load up rather than risk loosing a $35,000 engine.
If he visited the speedway tower, It was to ask about his options regarding his backup car.
Tough luck, but obviously the right decision if your'e the one paying the bills.
Some people get it, and some never will.

If Jimmy is paying 35k for motors from pro power then he is getting ripped....he has been with Bill Schleper for a long time and should be getting 2 motors for that price
