Default How to remove bearing race from quick change cap

One of the bearings in the quick change cap on our Winters rearend came apart. I need to get the race out of the cap. After removing the bearing cover, there appears to be a metal retainer behind the race, but I don't see a way to get it out. What is the proper way to remove this race a put the new one in? Thanks for your help.

you just tap it out, the retainer stays on the bearing until removed.

Best bet is to replace the whole cover assembly with a bearing failure.

There is a set screw on the outside of the cover, recessed in a hole on some.(usually filled with silicone)
If you still have trouble getting it out, weld a bead around the inside of the race and it will shrink the od, usually falls right out with this., When it cools off.
