Jared Landers Launches New Website; Topless 100 This Weekend

Batesville, Arkansas (08/19/11) – Jared Landers is the latest addition to the MSR Mafia Team, and has launched a brand new website at www.JaredLanders.com .

Jared, who is 29-years-old, pilots the #777 Clint Bowyer Motorsports/Rocket/Earnhardt Childress Racing Engine Super Late Model on the ultra-competitive, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) tour. He is sixth in the latest tour standings, and also leads the Quarter Master Rookie of the Year standings on the tour. In addition, he has already recorded a LOLMDS tour victory in 2011 as he topped the $10,000-to-win event on June 3rd at the wicked-fast, high banks of Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee).

When not competing in his Super Late Model, Jared occasionally returns to his roots in the Open Wheel Modified division, where he has amassed over 100 wins during the course of his career. In fact, Landers began the 2011 season by claiming his first East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) win during the 35th Annual Winternationals in his #777 Shaw By Landers Open Wheel Modified.

This weekend, August 18th-20th, Landers will be in action at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) in the 19th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100, which pays $40,000-to-win. Jared is the defending champion of the event as he claimed his first ever Super Late Model win in the crown jewel in 2010 in front of an approving, home crowd. This year’s edition of the event will get underway on Friday night with a program that will be highlighted by time trials and heat race action, while Saturday's event will include b-mains and the 100 lap finale.
