    Chronicles 7:14
I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.

that is so true God is being pushed out of everything He has been a part of even out of some churches. It is time we all take everything back that satan has stolen from us and the things that was given to him by our own freewill....God forgive us for what we have done and give us a chance to prove ourselves again...

Many are quick to proclaim the separation of church and state but more often than not are completely unaware of the true meaning or completely misunderstand it.

The phrase "separation of church and state" itself does not appear in the United States Constitution. The First Amendment states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Prior to 1947, however, separation of church and state was not considered part of the constitution; indeed in 1870s and 1890s unsuccessful attempts were made to amend the constitution to guarantee separation of church and state, a task to be accomplished not by constitutional amendment but by judicial fiat in 1947.

The reason for the first part of this was because the British government and other European governments during the days of immigration to America were forcing the religion of the government's choice on the people. There was no freedom of choice. The idea was that as expressed in the second part of the second sentence that people would have that freedom of choice. There were those attempts made to insure that people would have that free choice and this was not done until the judicial fiat of 1947.

Nothing in this non-constitutional dialogue in any way expresses that the church should be kept out of government. In fact, the only thing that Christianity would want from government is to continue to allow us to worship freely. Today, because many have tried to infuse into the discussion that Christians are trying to force their faith into government, they know are trying to push God out of all that the founding fathers believed in as they created what has become the greatest nation on earth, a nation that has in the past been very blessed by God but now as we see this movement against God in this country we also see that God is not longer blessing this country as He has in the past. In fact much of what is seen in this country is very similar to what was happening to the people of Israel and Judah prior to the complete collapse of those nations and their being taken into captivity in Babylon and Assyria. All I can say is that for true Christians it is all a win/win situation. We either are able to continue to worship God freely in a country that still believes that respect for other, ethic, morals, principles and values are God centered values. If we are not we are just that much closer to the day that Jesus Christ returns to bring judgment upon the world. Whichever way we go is fine with me.

Unfortunately most will not take the time to read your post above, let alone do their own homework to find that your are absolutely correct...they will continue to use the term "separation of church and state" in their arguments, content to believe that they understand its meaning....
