Daniel Baggerly Scores First Win of 2011 at Wythe Raceway; Two More Crate Races this Week!

(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) Daniel Baggerly, of Rural Retreat, Virginia, recorded his first feature win of the 2011 racing season at his hometown Wythe Raceway on Saturday night, August 20! Behind the wheel of his 2008 Barry Wright Race Car, Daniel set a New Track Record (17.73 seconds) for FASTRAK Crate Late Models at the picturesque 1/2-mile speedplant during the qualifying session. After rolling off from the pole position in the A-Main, Daniel led flag-to-flag to claim the convincing $1,000 win over Jensen Ford, Bobby Mays, Tim Byrd, and Lance Reynolds. Full results from Wythe can be accessed online at www.wytheraceway.com.

The B&B Motorsports team will look to build on the success from last weekend in two more Crate Late Model battles this week in the states of Tennessee and Virginia. The ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee will take center stage tonight, August 25 by playing host to a FASTRAK Crate Late Model show, which is part of the popular ‘Scorcher’ program. On Friday night, August 26, the action will quickly switch to the Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia for a special Friday race.
