National UMP Points leader Mike Harrison just called Brad, he'll has confirmed he'll be at Spoon River Sunday! That means two of the top four (Ray Bollinger) will be at Spoon.

Also, the Full Motion Late Model simulator will be on hand Sunday for fans to jump in and experience what it's like to wheel a dirt Late Model!

Races got washed out tonight, bu here is an update from Brad as he was still working late at the track: All wristbands and tickets for tonight's show will be honored next Saturday night...OR...if you plan on being at the track tomorrow (Sunday, the 4th), you can use tonight's tickets and wristbands PLUS pay the small additional amount it costs to get in tomorrow: $5 for wristband, $3 for adult ticket, $2 for kids ticket. Again, your wristbands/tickets from tonight WILL be good tomorrow so long as you pay the difference.

This gives fans/drivers/crew members the option if they can't make it either tomorrow or next Saturday so that they do not lose their hard earned money. Also, next Saturday's show will be $1,000 to win for the UMP Modifieds, the purse that was scheduled for tonight.

The storm that was heading just by the track to the NW just stopped at about 6:30, and stayed right over the track. Still raining out there when I talked to Brad just a bit ago. At 6:15 the sun was shining to the SW and South and it looked like we had a shot to get lucky, but it just didn't work out.

26 mods, 20 pro late models were in the pits, along with about 30 more cars in the E-mod and Hornet classes...it was going to be a great show. Hopefully tomorrow's Fall Nationals can see an even larger field (absolutely going to be more Mods) and next Saturday, the 10th, should be another big field at The Spoon.

Sun is shining, lots of folks stayed overnight at the track, Spoon is preparing for tonight's big show...$2,000 to win mods and Brad has listed complete Mod payout and admission prices at the start of this thread.

Also, Roelandt Racing Systems will have a Full Motion Late Model Simulator on hand for everyone to hop in and get a feel for what it's like to be behind the wheel!

Seriously? I talked to him at Farmer City and he said he didn't call anyone and never had plans on going to Spoonriver.

All I no is I had a call from a guy who said he was Harrison and wanted to no what time everything started. I told him and also told him he was locked in because he was the National point leader and he said ok we will be there and that was the end of conversation. I believe ya Scooter if he said he wasn't coming. Must have been a prankster on the phone.
