Default Dixie Speedway damaged in tornado

Just saw on the tv news where Dixie received damage from the tornado in Cherokee County. The bleachers in turn 1 were blown away and the concession stand in the pits was destroyed. I did not see the whole news clip but it looked like a lot of damage. Hope everybody in the area is okay.

Went by Dixie this morning - quite a mess.

All of the damage is in turn one and the infield.

In turn one, the pit shack, a bunch of metal bleachers, and the fences are destroyed, with most of the
    debris laying on the track.

The major damage is the tall light tower on the turn 3/4 end. It's bent totally in half, but still standing.

The infield buildings looked bad, but I couldn't see too well.

There were two or three contractor trucks (with long cranes and buckets) already working on the electrical poles in the infield.

I would guess there were about a dozen guys in hard hats working on the mess in turn one and in the infield.

If they can get a new light tower, and new fences in turn one, Dixie could be back in action Sat.
