Rome, GA (9/11/2011) --- Sunday the racers from Tri-State area including Tennessee and Alabama converged on the Rome (GA) Speedway for the annual ROME BOSS event. Second Generation driver Craig Reese, 31, solidified his return to racing after a 10-year absence, taking the 20-lap Crate Late Model feature race in flag to flag fashion. A handful of cautions plagued the event, that had previous nights winner at Dixie, Donald McIntosh and Carey Smith closed in on the restarts. James Green (father of former Dirt Track World Champion; Marshall Green) with Capital Race Cars has been behind the N.T.P. TEAM since their conception a year ago. "James sets up the car and guides me into everything" stated Reece in an interview Monday. "...it feels good to get such a dominant win, in this calibur championship race. I've been coming here for years as a spectator - and now!!!" Craig's father Larry, a veteran of Super Late Model action in TN/GA back in the 90's, stepped away from racing, when Craig became old enough to drive. Following Reece under the checkers Sunday night were; McIntosh, Mark Page, Alan Brewer and Smith respectfully. The N.T.P.
