    auto

I ran manuals from 93-2010. And tried a auto to see for myself and there is no comparison if your allowed a converterless auto..

Bushore is who I get mine from, no issues and about 55 nights on one and 10 on the other. Ive never changed the fluid or touched the trans.

    Default Totally Agree!

...and it's cheaper than a manual after you add the cost of the clutch, bellhousing, tranny and throw out. Bushore are great trannies along with Phipps, so depending on your location these guys are located in Iowa and Illinois.

If you can run a Brinn or Bert, I'd go with one of those. They really help.

I run a lightened 3 speed with a mini clutch, no problems unless you get something bound up in the drivetrain, or throw a driveshaft then the trans case can break.

Reason I run a 3 speed is because no matter what, starter go out, clutch line lean up against a header and burn, throwout bearing failure...you can stick it in gear and get a push to get her started again. Yes, some autos you can push start with that bump valve. But if your line going to it gets a leak, breaks or whatnot you're S.O.L

Good reason to run an automatic...restarts.

You can go slow enough, if your leading, to get the guys with the 3 speeds to where the clutch is slipping...way down out of thier power band...get the engine super bogged down. But when you get on the throttle, you still go like hell...not waiting for the cam to come in, or rpm's to get up.
