    The cam is restricting the engine. That's something I'd have ran in a B-Mod.

    It's worth the time to switch it out. Try the JR109. Everyone hates cheap camshafts but for the money it is the best thing you can buy. I've run it in 355's, 383's, 377's. Once you do that you'll see a pretty big improvement on power and torque. That 383 should be able to rip the tires off it with the parts you have in it and the heads/intake combo.

    Springs could be dead, replace them also with the onse that match the cam.

    Valve springs were good. We retarded the cam 4 degrees on the crank and it was 100% better. We found out we were coming of the corner at a higher rpm than we thought so we were running out of cam early with it advanced. Thanks for all your help

    so where do you have the cam degreed at now? i thought in the original post you had it at 102? so you took it back to 98?

    It was at 102 that is 4 dregrees advance from the 106 ic we moved it back to the 106 to move the powerband of the cam back up in rpm

    another thing....did you put the super victor back on or did you leave the victor jr on it?
