Driveshaft should be 38 inches. What are you looking to align? 4-link rods, panard bar? What year car is it?

call fast shafts first 800 622-6617. I had a 38" and it was too long and ripped the seal out FYI. He has a bullet proof way of figuring what you need.

I was told by Skip that the 1998 and earlier cars ran a 18 1/4" J bar...the one with the 33" left axxle and 35" right axle..We ran 18/ 1/2" and left side was lined up corrrectly...Just a FYI..

get it right in shop, then measure from tork amr bracket to right underslung bar, get 1/2" round wooden dowel cut to that measurement, us it as a quick measureing tool after changes. then adj p bar. WE shorten or lenghten ours three complete turn for each 1/2 " bar adj. in height ( thats the heim on frame side ) hope this what your looking for.

We are running the BSB frame mount and oinion mount which has an arc in the mounts so as you move the J Bar up or down at either end it doesn't effect the side to side movement. You should sight down the drives side as far as alignment goes...

If you are from Cleveland, Tenn. then call Kent Hicks at Hicks Specialty Welding and he will set you up right on that GRT. He is the only dude who touches my GRT and mine will fly. Mine was a rolling chassis and he helped me get everything I needed. Besides Skip Arp ,Kent Hicks is the best GRT man around these parts!
