22 or 24 ga i think. I actually used aluminum over the factory body for a long time.

For a bomber I would use 22 gauge steel, that's what I did my car in 35 bucks for a 4x10 sheet

most OEM steel is 16 gauge...

22 ga mild steel, find it at any steel yard.
