    Default mustang steering rack help

1980 mustang has a manual rack on it. Need to change it out, can not find a manual rack. So guess I am going to have to power rack on it.

Does anyone know where I can find a manual rack?
If not what all has to be changed to make the power rack work?

    Thanks in advance.

nothing should have to be changed..just strip the lines off it,put some ATF in it,and plug all the holes
No matter how hard you try...you cant fix stupid!!!

If you build it right...it will turn left!!!

if the rack housing is not broken, your old rack can be completely rebuilt

my guess is that you were looking online and seen a manual rack and compared it with a power rack there the same, but if you can just buy a power rack for a 91 mustang for 5.0 and its 2.25 turn lock to lock just make sure you don't over drive the car if your used to 3.5 turn lock to lock....put some fluid in there and like the other guy said run the line back into itself

All auto parts stores show the manual rack, but when you got to order it, no body has it in the country.
