    Default bore x stroke

    looking for opinions on big bore short stroke vs small bore long stroke in motors under
    400 ci

    On a small track,ill take a big bore-small stroke-long rod -low bob weight any day,won 16 feature`s out of 21 with it.

    You need the big bore so your valves aren't shrouded.

    Talk to a Dirt Late Model engine builder, they are all big bore.

    If you are even think'in small bore you are in the wrong class.

    It all come`s down to how much money you want to spend,The combo im using right now as a sb2 top end,that`s where your going to get your hp number`s from.
