We are a nation of people, individuals not corporations. We do not exist because the corporations exist, the corporations exist and were built on the backs of the individual. What I agree with is the corporate entities have completely consumed and now dominate the political process in this nation, a process that was originated and created based solely on the idea that the individual "we, the people" could have a say in our governance instead of simply bowing to the wealthy master who owned and controlled us.

The wealthy masters have contrived ways to circumvent democracy and remove the power of the people to affect change. It's time we, the people, removed their influence and took our country back from the corporations and wealthy elites who own and control it and make decisions only in their own interest, instead of all of our interests.

Until people figure out that we, who support the founding father's ideals and philosophies of one nation, with liberty and justice FOR ALL (and not just those with the money to purchase it) are not "the socialist enemy" (as portrayed solely by the right wing media, which is bought and paid for by those same corporations and wealthy elites who have purchased power and influence in our government) then we will remain a nation divided: those who see the injustice and manipulation by the wealthy elite, and those who accept the message spread by the wealthy elite that the people who oppose the continued amassing of wealth by the few are this nation's enemy.

I don't see wealthy people or corporations as evil, bad, or something that should be eliminated. But there is a time when enough is enough and there needs to be some redressing of the balance between the interests of the corporation, and the interest of the individual. We have gone too far in favoring our wealthy, in the hope that they would reinvest and help us all, at the expense of the individual's ability to succeed and prosper. We just need to even that imbalance up, not eliminate one end of the equation. We need corporations and it is inevitable that some people will have more than others. But we don't need to live in a nation where a few have it all, while so many do not have enough to even live on.

Great reply t.nie.The rich that run wallstreet own our government BOTH sides. The rich with there power and greed are destroying this country. When the middle class held the greater part of wealth in this country we paid the most of the whole of the tax money .The rich didnt have a problem with the middle class doing so.Now that they hold the greater part of the wealth there cryin about having to pay the greater part of the taxes...Its a easy fix stop taking our jobs overseas start paying decent wages and yes you will make a few millions less but with more middle class working paying in taxes maybe yours would go down,Stop rewarding the ceo with a bonus for laying off more workers..
They have to relize they cant have everthing.

But the problem is the progressive liberals on the left and yes there are even a few on the right, the Democratic party is the owner of the movement going on in this country to transform it to some type of socialist, marxist nation. You have to be blind to not see what the media and left are doing. Do they really do that good of job of twisting the truth? It's scary to believe that some people sit down and eat this stuff up. But I must say it does work to some extent.

Regulation is a part of the problem but the biggest part is the that other countries are in a bidding war for our jobs.they pay millions and build us companies entire factories stock them with the lowest paid employee's avalible.ford is one company that is hopping around to the highest bidder as they have sold most of the buildings here in the us and only rent the buildings that they currently use here at home.so if you want the goverment out of ther azzes than your the one that needs to stop and think.the people of other counties want they're governments involved. poland has people working for a few dallors a day not an hour a day! I know of a company based out of chicago that has no factories left in the us and is now getting a free factory built in Egypt.NO regulations ran them out it was the free/greed that got them out.

Obama Admin Stops Ohio Drilling Killing Over 200,000 Jobs

Gulf drilling moratorium, no Canada pipeline, etc. Do we we see a trail here as plain as a tornado path or what? It's the Republicans fault or no it's Bush'es fault. The left and media told you it was, so it must be the truth.

You want truth??? Turn the channel when this garbage keeps getting told to you by what used to be legitimate news sources. Catch the media in a lie? Quit giving them credibility.
